The simple two-button design allows for streamlined operation, and audible instructions guide the user step-by-step through CPR and external defibrillation. Voice coaching begins as soon as the user presses the “On” button and continues until emergency services arrive. Brightly illuminated indicator lights reinforce the voice coaching with clear text guidance.

The Defibtech Lifeline AED uses biphasic waveform technology to assess heart rhythms and customize treatment accordingly. User-Friendly AED Software

The internal software is easy to upgrade without the need for an internet connection. As protocols change, the upgrade is as simple as inserting a data card into the device. The data card is also used to record electrical activity in a patient’s heart. After an emergency, the data can be presented to emergency services personnel to ensure optimal treatment for the patient. The Lifeline data card holds up to 100 minutes of audio and ECG information.
